God Will Provide

I got up this morning without knowing what topic to submit for this month’s blog entry. As I was taking my braids down at 5:30 a.m., preparing for my birthday, the Holy Spirit said, “God provides.”

I was sitting here pondering and thinking about all the life challenges and events throughout my life. I suddenly realized that no matter what season I was in during that time, God always provided for my children and me. I honestly can’t complain, as I am blessed to be here another year on earth.  

When you notice certain things being blocked, understand that this is God’s protection, and He’s thinking BIGGER. I know what you’re thinking, “That’s easier said than done”. Well, in the great words of Dr. Bri, I find myself STILL crying, spitting, and farting when things appear blocked for my protection. I mean, it’s human to do, right? 

My times are in His hand (Psalm 31:15).

We want to know the WHY when certain events occur or don’t fall through in the way we envisioned.  Truth is, that’s none of our business! I dare you to wholeheartedly stop trying to play God, get out of the way, and go with the flow of His timing while I do the same. At that moment, you begin to look at life differently.

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens. (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

Here is your reminder for the week ahead: You got this, and no matter what the day may bring, God will provide your every need!
