Dear Friend,
Happy Thursday! One of my prayers has always been that God would make me an answer. While I don't think I knew what I was asking for back then, it was in my heart to ask.
This week, I've been talking a lot about money because it's essential and one of the keys to building God's Kingdom. Believers need money to live and effectively spread the Gospel, and God knows this because the Kingdom isn't poor.
Anywho, when I woke up this morning, I remembered one of the reasons why God blessed me so much financially last year. On the one hand, it was because I had proven myself to be a good financial steward. On the other hand, it was because He knew that if He gave it to me, He would get it through me. I mean that God knew I would give to whom He instructed me to give.
Last year, I gave away $16,051.89. Yes, I gave away over $16k to people in need.
Why?
Because that's the Kingdom way.
I was able to reach people in their greatest time of need, and the cool thing is that I didn't know the majority of them personally. Sometimes I would post an Instagram story asking if anyone needed help with bills. If anyone responded, I sent the money. No questions asked.
I was even able to crowdsource to pay someone's car note. That was the Gospel in action.
Now you might ask, "Briana, what if they use the money for something else?"
Honestly, that has nothing to do with me. I was simply meeting a need, and if they lied, that was between them and Holy Spirit. Fascinatingly, there was one time when Holy Spirit told me not to give to someone, and I didn't. Essentially, the "what if" was none of my concern, but my obedience was.
What I'm trying to get you to understand is that some people don't just need our prayers; they need to witness demonstrations. They need to see the Kingdom in action to believe.
They need you!
